Wat Pah Nanchat

Wat Pah Nanachat is a Buddhist monastery in Northeast Thailand, in the Theravada Forest Tradition. It was established in 1975 by Ven. Ajarn Chah (1918-1992) as a branch monastery close to his own traditional forest monastery Wat Nong PahPong in Ubon Rachathani province.

Presently, a German monk is the abbot of this temple. This place is very calm and quiet, monks are often seen very mindful and steady on their practice. Many people visit this monastery for meditation practice. We had a good time in this monastery, with offering requisite to the Sangha. May all the merits shared to great donor and may all understand the truth.

Our previous donation was conducted in Wat Pa baan Tah (Lungta Mahabowa) in the name of Mother Rita Thaddey from Switzerland. Here, Miss. Phetmaly also donated socks for the monks during cold season. May they all gain merits and attain the highest Truth.
